Come bets and the Come Odds

Once the point is on, the Pass Line just waits. A Come bet gets more chips working at the same great price.

A new Pass Line bet, any time

Put your chips in the big Come box after a point is set. The very next roll is that bet’s own come-out roll:

• 7 or 11: the Come bet wins even money.
• 2, 3, or 12: it loses.
• Any other number: the dealer moves your chips up onto that number. That’s its Come point.

From there, it works like the Pass Line: it wins if its number rolls again before a 7. Its house edge is the same 1.41%.

Say the point is 6, and you make a Come bet. The shooter rolls a 5, so your Come bet moves to the 5. Now you have two bets working: the Pass Line on the 6 and your Come bet on the 5.

Back it with Come Odds

Once your Come bet has moved to a number, you can take Odds on it, just like the Pass Line. Set out your chips and tell the dealer “odds on my Come”. They pay true odds, with no house edge: 3 to 2 on a 5.

With $10 on the Come and $10 in Odds, a 5 pays $10 plus $15, so $25 in play money.

Two surprises

Come Odds are off on the come-out. When the shooter makes the point, the next roll is a new come-out. Your Come bet stays up, but its Odds don’t work on that roll. If a 7 rolls, the Come bet loses and the dealer hands your Odds back. Off means they can’t win, and they can’t lose either. At PlayCraps you can call them working if you’d rather.

A seven-out takes every Come bet on a number. But a brand-new Come bet still sitting in the Come box wins on that same 7, because it’s that bet’s first roll.

Don’t Come

Don’t Come mirrors Don’t Pass: after a point, the next roll 2 or 3 wins, 7 or 11 loses, and 12 pushes. Any other number moves the bet behind that number, and it wins if a 7 rolls first.
